at the 8th ARTSinTank Dance Festival in Korea (ADFK)!
The ARTSinTank Dance Festival in Korea is one of the best platforms to present dance work in Korea.
ADFK is open to local and international choreographers who would like to present their work both in lives and dance film.
Different levels of choreographers can apply for ADFK Performance Relay / Dance Film to share the works with international participants.
Live Stage Performance
ADFK is open to local and international choreographers who would like to present their live stage performances.
- Proposed works should be approximately 15 minutes.
- Must attend the Festival in-person for the performance (South Korea)

Dance Film
ADFK is open to local and international choreographers who wish to present their dance films.
- Proposed works should be approximately 15 minutes.
- All works must be original, and the submitter must own the rights to or have obtained permission to use
any material included in their video or performance.
- The participant confirms and guarantees that they have the necessary legal rights to use all music, images, and content included in their submission.
- All screen dance participants are welcome to attend the festival, but it is not required. Selected dance films at ADFK will be screened both at the on-site festival and in the online screening. The online screening will be available on the ArtsinTank website for about a week, and detailed information will be separately provided to the selected artists.

Dance & Music & Digital (MDD) International Collaboration _ Summer
ADFK is open to local and international dancers, musicians, and digital artists who wish to collaborate on experimental new works.
The Dance & Music & Digital (MDD) International Collaboration Work is designed for artists who want to engage in
an improvisational collaboration with multinational, multi-genre artists over five days during the ARTSinTank Dance Festival,
held from July 2 to July 6.
This unique project brings together artists from various countries and disciplines to develop original creative works,
explore new ideas, and experiment in a collaborative environment.

7/1 1st day : Arrival & Short Orientation

Benefit :
If your group is selected as the best showcase work, will receive an official invitation to perform
with an accommodation and performance fee for the next ADFK.

Festival Educational Series (Festival Pass)
The Festival Educational Series (Festival Pass) is open to anyone interested in experiencing workshops and performances by both international and local Korean dance artists, companies, and selected guests.
Featured workshop facilitators will include local Korean and international university professors,
as well as artistic directors of professional dance companies and festivals.

Target Audience :
- Individuals over 18 who major in dance or related fields.
- High school students must be accompanied by a guide or teacher.
What Does A Typical Day Look Like?
Morning l Free time for exploring Korean Culture
Afternoon l Attend lectures/seminar and participate in community and master workshops
Lunch/Dinner l Eat with new local and international friends
Evening l Attend dance marathon and select performances from the festival
Only Participation fee : $590
Professional Artist Workshops + All the performances
Participation fee (including housing 6 nights and 7 days) : $990
Pre Arranged Accommodation - you maybe placed either Guesthouse, dormitory, or housing (you will have separate bed, sharing the room with other)

Festival Educational Series Scholarship
We offer a scholarship program for artists wishing to participate in the festival. Selected applicants will receive
full or partial support for the cost of the Festival Pass. Don’t miss this opportunity to join us!

50% Partial Scholarship (2 people )
To be considered for a full and/or partial scholarship, applicants are required to submit:
- Introduction Video (1-2 minutes)
- Dance video of any genre (1-2 minutes)
- Personal Statement explaining their qualifications and needs for a scholarship
- Resume/CV (1-page)
- Recommendation Letter (Established Dancer Mentor with 15+ years of professional dance experience and/or University Professor or equivalent experience, it can be optional)
